I thought I would send you my Super Cub crash pics from the weekend.
I had about 2 mins flight time before crashing into the top of the tallest tree around!! I have to say though the first 2 mins were great fun!
Unfortunately the plane is still in the tree! I tried all sorts to get her down but shes well stuck!
Hopefully the wind will dislodge her and I'll be able to get her back. She looks quite badly damaged but I can't wait to start rebuilding her!
I'll keep you posted! Oh and thanks for your swift dispatch and delivery it was really appreciated!

Well I have finally been able to get back my super cub, which has been stuck in a tree for the best part of 2 months now. The last bout of heavy wind and rain dislodged her and I was able to get her back. Unfortunately the rain has been beating down on her too, so I’m not too sure whether the electronics will still be working. Everything is dry and was probably quite protected by the cowl and fuselage, so fingers crossed!!
From my first visual inspection: The end of the fuselage has completely snapped off and destroyed the tail. At the front end, the firewall has also come away from the fuselage leaving the motor hanging. It looks like the firewall has just come unstuck and not broke. Somehow the wing has managed to stay in one piece, there's a few scuffs and bites out of it, but very salvageable.
So as First Engineer of this bird, my prognosis to the captain (Also me!) is that we will have her back in the sky in no time!
