While the Tracer 80 is an ideal beginner's helicopter, here are a few flying tips to help get you off of the ground. Operate the throttle stick gently with small movements, large on/off movements of the throttle will cause a sudden reduction in height increasing your chances of crashing. Low battery power can also be a cause of crashing. If your helicopter climbs slowly or is unable to climb on full throttle it means the battery power is getting low. For safety reasons, land your helicopter as soon as possible and re-charge the battery. Lastly any damage to the rotor blades or fuselage can greatly affect flight control. It’s better to stop flying and repair any damaged parts before re attempting to fly. With a full array of spare parts available, it is easy to replace any damaged parts and prolong the life of your Tracer 80 helicopter.
