The NEW Super Cub LP has incredible scale looks and a new blue decal. It's jam packed with exciting features including X-Port technology which enables modules such as the Aerial Drop Module, Combat Module and Night Flight Module to be fitted.
Like the original, the Super Cub LP is equipped with Anti Crash Technology (ACT) which makes it safer and easier to teach yourself to fly than ever. The Super Cub LP has two ACT sensors mounted on the top and bottom of the fuselage that constantly monitor the position of the plane in relation to the ground. If a steep dive or possible crash situation is detected the ACT will automatically correct the position of the plane allowing the pilot time to regain control.
As more experience is gained the ACT feature can be switched off allowing for increased maneuverability. Whilst ACT isn't a guarantee against crashing it is certainly a cost saving feature for the novice flyer.
Fitted with a powerful 480 motor, the Super Cub LP has performance to match its great looks and comes complete with everything needed to get into the air in as little time as possible.
The Super Cub LP has a 3S 11.1V LiPo battery and a DC Balancing LiPo charger is included as well as a mains adapter. Batteries can be charged and ready for use in under 40 minutes. Scale landing gear with lightweight foam wheels and steerable tail wheel complete the plane.
New from HobbyZone, the Super Cub Float Kit allows the plane to take off and land on water!
A speedy assembly is assured and it only requires the one-piece wing, tail plane and landing gear to be attached.
The video CD and fully detailed instruction manual show exactly how this should be done and if you do this while the battery is on charge, the Super Cub LP can be flight ready in about forty minutes!
